February 8, 2015 ~ Sanford, FL ~ Solo Portrait Session: Sarah
On a beautiful February evening, I shot a solo portrait session of my friend, Sarah,
at the beautiful Sanford Riverwalk. We were blessed with the most beautiful light
and a time spent laughing, teasing, and shooting pictures like good friends do. 🙂

We laughed SO MUCH during this session. We kept joking we’d never have any serious pictures.
I actually had to put down my camera a few times to recover and get my breath back!!

Sarah has such a fantastic sense of humor and sarcasm.
Baby ducklings crashed our shoot!!
They puttered around, squeaking and quacking, and we fell.in.love.

Sarah has the ability to make me cry-laughing, which is not a talent most people possess.
She’s been my backup support at weddings, and gets all the photography jokes because
she’s been there…done that. Sarah is a hilarious, wonderful, I’ll-tell-you-a-great-story
kind of friend, and I’m super glad I’m one of hers.

Soon, our beautiful light dissolved into night, and we stayed around by the rippling water to watch
the beautiful sunset. And then Sarah took me out to dinner at an amazing Italian restaurant,
& we talked about life for another 3 hours. I came away so encouraged, rejuvenated, so understood.

I realized on my drive home that night that I created this business for days just like that day on Feb 8.
A chance to build relationships, love more people, and bless them by giving them pictures.
Pictures they could look at and remember how hilarious it was to laugh at nothing for hours,
and to feel beautiful and lavished with attention because they are so worth it.
That day was a very, very good reminder to me of why I started this business.
It is for the beauty of sharing life & God with others.
Thank you so much, Sarah!! You are special and so much fun.
