Hello! It’s been a minute or a year since I’ve done a #FridayIntroduction and there is so much news to share!
** My name is JM, my current favorite drink is almond milk hot cocoa with coconut whipped cream
& I’m just beyond thankful to not be wedding planning during 2020 anymore. (PRAISE JESUS LET’S NOT DO IT AGAIN) haha!
** I got married to the kindest man on November 5, 2020, and we honeymooned in NC in the Autumn!
** I live in Jacksonville, FL now! It’s 45 minutes south of the Georgia border, so it feels like home to me.
I’ve already found some favorite spots near the water that are so peaceful and lovely.
** Jemmie Photography turned 7 years old just a month ago!! That’s incredible! It seems not that long ago I shakily picked up my Nikon d70 and shot 4 family sessions in one month. Now it’s as normal as breathing, and still one of the ways I’m stretched most creatively! I still love it all.
** My dear friend Shannon Ashley Photography (who shot this photo of me above!) was also one of my gorgeous bridesmaids, and my dream photographer Lydia Jane Photography flew in from Vancouver, BC to shoot my wedding!
** I have so much gratitude and love in my heart for my Central Florida clients (& beyond!) who have hired me year after year, letting me fill their homes with memories of laughter, tears, the glorious mess of family, birth, and togetherness. It’s all I’ve wanted to do, and I’ve been blessed with the kindest clients. I truly love y’all!! Don’t worry I’ll be back to visit Central FL (& worldwide once this pandemic is over!) to shoot sessions occasionally. Photography took me to England (twice!), China, then South Korea, Australia, and all over the USA. It’s been my dream job and I’m so very thankful to you all.
** Jax, I’m excited to meet y’all & shoot in all new places!! Let’s meet up! I’m shooting sessions starting again in Feb 2021. Give a shout out if you’re in the area!
