May 15, 2016 ~ Sanford Riverwalk, Sanford, Florida
Sometime in late April, I got a really sweet Facebook message from a friend of mine asking if I’d meet up
to talk photography and teach her about turning a photography hobby into a business, and of course, I said, “YES!”. Mentoring sounds scary, but when I think back to when I was a young hobbyist photographer and didn’t know anything, and read anything I could…I can share what I DO know now! Which is a whole heck of a lot more than I did 10 years ago, haha.
Michelle is such a sweet and laid back person to be around, and I had so much fun shooting with her,
and dumping all the information I knew out of my brain while she scribbled furiously in a notebook.
We met at the Sanford Riverwalk, and I had 15 minutes to shoot before she arrived to where I was….
so I took FULL advantage. I LOVE Marinas and I am alwaaaaays drawn to water and boats {FL girl}
We talked for a few hours, took some photos, and then had amazing Southern Crab Soup at the Breezeway Restaurant in the historic district (try it. I promise you that you will cry tears of joy over the South).
