A year ago in the Spring I drove from Charlotte to North Alabama to take some dearly loved family photos for our closest family friends and their new baby boy! The morning we took these, the rain pitter-pattered down the windows, fog hung over the cornfields nearby, and his big sister with redhead curls sang songs in the next room. Watching my dear friend be such a tender Mama (again!) to her babies melted my heart in a way I can't fully describe. I nannied Marjie & her siblings when they were so little and now we are very close friends (even with over a decade between us!) sharing the highs & lows of motherhood, hard high risk pregnancies & a hundred facetimes between our babies close in age. How grateful I am for lifelong friendships that always feel so dear to be near & to laugh & cry through life with! I love you N family with all my heart!
