On one golden October day heavy with the scent of a beautiful vineyard in small town Georgia, Anne & Luke got married, surrounded by loving family and friends. All my wedding couples are infinitely special, but not all go "way back". 15 years ago I was the amateur videographer on the coldest Virginia wedding day for Anne's older sister Ivis, and a little darling giggling set of redhead twins followed me around all day. Those little redhead twins wrote me longform letters with a red wax seal back & forth for ages. My sister was in Ivis' wedding that day, Ivis in hers years later on a shimmering April day, and then one twin, Emma, married a sweet expressive man named John. And then one day Anne fell in love with John's brother named Luke.
I tell you something. It makes your heart fill up in a million ways seeing the people you've always loved & known be loved so well in new ways. Luke loves, adores, delights in Anne. There is no one for Luke like Anne. Anne radiated joy, grace, beauty, peace, a stunning bride draped under a veil with shimmering eyes. I cried happy tears behind the camera.
There were so many intentional details planned by Anne, and one of the most stunning receptions I've ever seen at the White Horse Co. Their families danced into the night, shared hugs, and ate the most delicious food & cakes prepared by Luke's family under the Georgia stars. I'll always remember it. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Luke Wiggins! What a gift to capture your wedding day! Love you both forever!
