Happy International Women's Day!
To all the women who bravely forged frontiers that we now see as normal today. To the mothers who told us we could do anything, be anything, who bravely held us every day with sacrificial love and then let us go travel the world. To the girls coming after us who are the brightest lights and the most honest generation, and whom I love so much.
To the women who have hard stories and tender hearts and open arms. To the women who write words & stories, capture memories with cameras, the women who teach the littlest generations, to the doctors & surgeons who hold so much compassion in their care. To the women who have smiled gently and cried in front of my camera. To the women who have offered the most generous of friendships and have shaped my world eternally for the better.
To the women who have prayed every day and believed when I couldn't. To the women who are stunning, radiant, strong, tender, courageous, have the heart of lions, and the loud laughter of joy. To the women who are all sizes & cultures & who dream incredible things we've not yet seen. To the women who've loved so deeply that it has changed lives.
I'm forever grateful to be in your womanhood ranks. To all of us. The world needs you, exactly you, with all your brilliant hopeful glory. Thank you for sharing just a small part of your life with me.
