Saturday, February 20, 2016 ~ Bulow Plantation & the Savannah, Flagler Beach, Florida
On Saturday, Shannon and I got together for a day – we’d been planning this collaborative photoshoot for weeks! It was just beautiful out, and we had a wonderful time. I dressed up rather 60’s (thanks thrift store!)
and we took turns taking photos of each other. It’s what photographers do best: boss each other around & take photos. It was such a beautiful & hilarious time!!! Shannon, you can model for me anytime. I love you so much!!

We found a pygmy rattlesnake (which Shannon identified, and told me multiple times
“DO NOT TOUCH THAT SNAKE, JEAN.”). It was adorable, though.
Shannon had to run to the car to get something super quick, so I did what any photographer would do:
took some self portraits with my camera. Listen. Before selfies were invented, we’ve been doing this for years.
(don’t tell Shan, but this face was because I inched 1 foot closer to the rattlesnake)
My favorite shots of the night: bringing back the old glamour of closing your eyes and being real. love it.
I lovingly and completely messed up Shan’s Irish curls. It doesn’t take much with us. So so worth it.
