Solo Portrait Session: Natalie

June 6, 2015 ~ Winter Park, FL ~ Solo Portrait Session: Natalie
I shot this amazing solo portrait session of Natalie on June 6, on a perfectly lovely Saturday evening at the gorgeous Rollins College in Winter Park. I loved every second of shooting there, and want to go back!!
I was so honored to be asked to shoot Natalie’s session. She’s amazing, fun, gorgeous and smart.
She graduated from Rollins College so she knew her way around their stunning campus.
And we had sooo much fun chatting and laughing throughout this session. I love my job.
“Beauty and femininity are ageless and can’t be contrived, and glamour,
although the manufacturers won’t like this,  cannot be manufactured.
Not real glamour; it’s based on femininity.” ~ Marilyn Monroe

As a photographer, my job description holds a million descriptions,
but one that is wonderfully at the top of the list is “Noticer of Details”.
I love love love details. I love that it’s a huge part of my job.
Details like how her gold bracelet sparkled just so, her hand gracefully resting on her leg,
and her ankles swept to the side just like a lady rests as we were all taught from a young age,
and how one foot was popped adorably out of her shoe, just for poise. It’s a lovely thing
to look graceful at rest and not all of us do it well. Not all of us are Natalie

Natalie, thank you so very much for entrusting me with capturing you as you are!!
I love these pictures of you, and hope you always remember the laughter, wonderful memories,
how beautiful you looked, and most importantly, how beautiful you are as a person. I love you!!
