Sunday, February 28, 2016 ~ Ponce Inlet, Florida ~ Maternity & Family Session: The Flakes
On a beautiful Sunday evening, I shot the most sun-lit & sun-flare filled maternity session of my gorgeous friend, Ashley, and her sweet family of 4, soon to be 5! She is expecting a baby boy in just a few weeks, but you’d never know it from how tiny she is!!! I’d been longing to shoot a family & maternity session at Ponce Inlet again, and was super delighted when Ashley told me to “pick a place”! I love it when my clients trust me so much. We had a wonderful time, enjoying the gorgeous views & the glory of the late February sun setting.
E (6) & A (10), always seem surprised all over again how excited I get to adventure with them (haha).
We found conchs, a baby starfish, lots of live barnacles, and beautiful shells. We delighted in the greenest
of green algae and mosses, and we felt the textures of many things. We embraced the wind and wildly let ourselves run with it. We climbed on the rocks and we splashed and danced in the chilly water (and
shrieked when we got caught in the tide). I love capturing children when they are not “grown up yet”.
Such treasures of life.
